Marketing Automation
Programmes that run on what customers do, across email, SMS, WhatsApp and push. Built to a specification, tested before launch, and instrumented so you can tell whether they worked.
A batch calendar is not automation.
Sending the same newsletter to everyone on Thursday is a schedule. Automation means the message is a consequence of behaviour: someone abandoned a basket, a subscription is nine days from renewal, a player has not logged in for a fortnight. The difference shows up in both revenue and unsubscribe rate.
The reason teams stay on the calendar is that behavioural programmes need three things at once — clean event data, a platform configured to receive it, and someone willing to own the edge cases. The edge cases are where most builds quietly fail: the customer who qualifies for four programmes in one morning, the refund that should suppress a review request, the timezone that sends a good-morning message at 3am.
What you get
- Built and live programmes in your platform, each with entry and exclusion logic, frequency caps and a defined exit
- Event and data mapping between your product, your warehouse and the sending platform, with the payloads documented
- Cross-programme suppression rules, so a customer in a service conversation is not simultaneously receiving a promotion
- Deliverability groundwork: SPF, DKIM and DMARC verified, sending domains separated by traffic type, and a warm-up plan for a new domain or IP
- Consent and preference handling that matches what your privacy policy actually promises, including unsubscribe honoured across every channel
- A test plan run before launch — seed sends, rendering across the clients your audience genuinely uses, and a dry run against production-shaped data
How the work runs
- 01
Confirm the data contract
Which events exist, which are reliable, and which are assumed but not actually emitted. Programmes are only as good as the triggers underneath them, so this comes first.
- 02
Build in staging
Configured against production-shaped data with sending disabled. Every branch is walked, including the ones that should send nothing at all.
- 03
Launch narrow
A holdout group and a capped audience for the first cycle. It is the only honest way to know whether the programme moved anything, and it contains the damage if a rule is wrong.
- 04
Instrument and widen
Reporting wired to the metric the programme was built to move, then the audience opened up. Anything that cannot be shown to work gets switched off rather than defended.
